Tumbleweed's Mexican Hot Chocolate Recipe

 With fall right around the corner we had to pull out our favorite hot chocolate recipe... it is only fitting with the launch of our new cozy sweatshirts! Nothing better than cozying up with a nice hot cup of hot chocolate with an oversized comfy sweatshirt on a cool fall evening.

1 cup milk
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp white granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon 
1/4 tsp cayenne powder
Whipped cream or marshmallows (for garnish)

Place milk in a pot on medium heat. Add unsweetened cocoa powder, cinnamon, cayenne, vanilla extract and sugar. Whisk together until combined and creamy. 
Let warm on the stove, stirring occasionally, for around 5 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired
Pour into Buffalo Tex mug. Top with whipped cream, extra cayenne and a pinch of salt as desired.
